Black cardamom
The first name on the list of top precious medicinal herbs in Vietnam is black cardamom. It has the scientific name Amomum. This type of tree appears a lot in the northern mountainous areas such as Lang Son, Ha Giang, or Lao Cai. The tree can be up to 3 meters tall. The most valuable part of black cardamom is the fruit. Harvest time lasts from August to October. Cardamom is often used in medicine and is a familiar spice in every family.
